unick3
Is your time wrong on the main forum screen? Go to your 'Control Panel' 'Edit Options' and change the 'time offset' This will correct for the time zone you are in, and display your correct local time. It is also handy for flight planning! You know how much +/- of GMT you are. unick3
I am having a problem keeping up with the proper GMT time which affects the time you see displayed. GMT is based on where the server is located (server clock time). For some reason the server seems to be bouncing all over the world??? I dont understand. Everytime I reset the GMT correctly, about 6 hours later the server seems tpo move to a new part of the world. I will reset the clock periodically, so you should set your personal profile to the correct GMT offset and if it reads correctly we both win! rmaddy
Nick - the problem seems to be that the Control Panel doesn't understand Day Light Savings time. I selected Mountain time but it shows -7 hours from GMT. That is true in the winter and spring, not summer and fall. Right now MDT is -6.
